We own, develop, and manage defense properties for the total defense. We are one of Sweden's largest property owners and are located throughout the country. We have a long history dating back to 1635 when the Fortification was established. This means that the Fortification Agency's property portfolio is unique, ranging from new high-tech facilities to old, culturally protected buildings and structures.

Your workplace - an agency that is developing and growing

The Information Management Unit consists of three groups with a total of approximately 35 employees. We are responsible for the agency's diaries, as well as the action, drawing, and property archives, and the information management process. This means the unit directs, coordinates, and monitors these areas. Our mission includes ensuring that other operations receive the necessary support materials in a timely manner and with high quality, and that the public receives answers to their questions regarding the release of public documents. We handle a significant amount of classified material. The Archive Group currently consists of nine employees in roles such as archivists, e-archivist, archive clerks, administrators, and group manager.

As a Business Developer with us, your main task will be to develop the work with lifecycle management of our information assets. You will help lead the development of the agency's handling of property and building information to become a data-driven operation. This involves ensuring that correct, current, and accessible information is available throughout the entire lifecycle, so that the information can be used from planning and design to management and decommissioning. You will work closely with the operations that build new facilities and manage our property portfolio. Here, your task will be to contribute your specialist competence in information management to ensure that information is handled correctly and efficiently throughout the entire lifecycle. Travel may be part of the role, and it can be planned.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university degree with a focus on archival and information science or other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. We want you to have experience in directing and managing information, as well as at least one year of project management experience. You must have excellent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good administrative skills, and a valid Class B driver's license is also a requirement.

Merits include education in systems science and information/business architecture. Experience with information management standards such as ISO 30301 or similar is viewed positively, as are knowledge of CAD and previous experience in developing methods or systems for property and building information and BIM models.
